Where online can i buy inexpensive dining room sets?
I'm looking for a nice and cute dining set for 4, anybody know about an online site for me to check out? I don't want to spend more than $350.
Are there any dining room sets that are as comfortable as a sofa?
Whenever it's time to eat, I dread going to the dining room table. It's stiff, wooden, and uncomfortable. I'd rather eat on the sofa, or sitting in the recliner, but that's not very civilized. I'm looking for a sofa esque dining room set. Is there anything like that in existence?Ha,ha, well some of you have suggested that I simply eat on the couch if that's what I like doing, or move the sofa into the dining room, etc. But I've got small children I'm trying to set an example for, so weirdness is not an option, haha, but thanks for the suggestions.

Well my momm wants a dining room set for cheap like under 600. I have looked on craigslist but there is still nothing. Also 6 seat with a china cabinet. It can be used or new. But not like with horrible scratches and stuff like that. I bought it about 20 years ago. It is wood & looks great but has some water bubbles so a picky person wouldn't like that but if they keep a cloth on it, it is beautiful. It is large I thing about 103 or 106 inches in length. The china closet is large & lights up. I am just going into a more simple way of life & starting an over the phone clean your clutter business so I need the cash while I am getting clients. I only paid $1500 for it but it would have been double if I wouldn't have bought it from a store called Value City. It really is a nice set but I thought about asking $1500 for it. Any idea of what I should do or what this will be like. I have never sold anything like this before?

beautifully crafted and looks great. The store owner claims that it is made in Italy. I am skeptical, because every time I ask for the name of the manufacturer they act uncomfortable and they avoid telling me my boss knows the name, no one has ever made this request, I have to find out, etc . Maybe they are nervous that I might go on the internet and try to buy the dininig room directly from the manufacturer. Or, maybe they don't want me to discover how much the cost is.The point is, I feel that I have a right to know exactly what I am getting, especially when I am spending almost $9,000. For all I know, it could be made in China, and is a knock off of an original.This dining room set is made to order or so they claim , is shipped from Italy, and takes about 2 months to arrive. I asked if I can get anything a certificate of authenticity, a paper stating the name and location of the manufacturer ANYTHING but I still have no info. I put down $100 yesterday, and in a couple of hours I will have to remit another $2,400, which is non refundable. Is there anything I can do to find out who produces this furniture, and where it's produced? FYI I am buying this dininig room set in Brooklyn 39th street, around 14th avenue from an area that has several Hasidic owned furniture stores. They all have similar products which they all claim are from Italy . I am buying from my particular store because they have the best looking dining room for the money.

Applying a clear coat to my dining room set?
I painted my dining room set black and was worried about it getting damaged from wear especially the table top and chairs . Someone told me to put a clear coat over top to protect it, so I started putting it on and it looks blue and lathered up, looking like soap suds all over the first chair I'm doing. I wiped it off and started again, being really gentle with it, but it still lathered up. Are these blue bubbles normal and will they dry clear or did I just ruin like a months worth of painting?

I have a dining room set that I am sanding now. what is the best way to refinish it so it looks like show room?
My dining room set is from Broyhill, so I know it is of good quality. I opted for acetone removal and sanding because it is huge with 6 arm chairs and acetone alone would be costly. How do I stain or refinish so it looks like it just came from the show room? It was painted white, but had a dingy yellow tint from age. I also want to finish it to match my kitchen cabinets, what is the best product and how do I match the color?

We live in Florida and I purchased a dining room set for $300 a couple of weeks ago. Now it is on sale for under $200 so I was wondering if there is any way I could request a refund for the difference since the set went on sale in such a short period of time after i paid for it. Is there any sort of consumer law that would cover this subject?
