What is average cost of putting glass over a dining/kitchen table?
We have just purchased a new table and chairs for our dining kitchen room. But this table is nicer than what we have ever had and want to make sure it doesn't get scatched or scorched from something as the one before has. I've seen people talk about getting glass placed over their tables. This way you can still see the beauty of the table, but it would be protected as well. Any one had this done and give estimated cost???

Let me tell you a bit about my style, I have a espresso wood table and my walls are tan with white crown moldings. I have family pictures throught the house and only a few black and white pieces of art. I love the black and white style, I have black wood frames and the in my living room I have cherry furniture and black leather couches. On the furniture there are more pictures black and silver frames I have been shopping around for area rugs but that's another issue for another day. Right now I need to get an idea of what type of curtains would complement my home. I have high ceilings and the window in the dining room is about as wide as a sliding glass door o also have a sling glad door a few feet over that needs treatments .Should I choose something darker than the walls? Textured? Should all windows and the door have the same treatments?Picures would help.Thank you

Im now seeing it on sale for 299.99 from 499.99 at Amazon.comThe furniture store dont refund, dont price match, etcIts being delivered for free and its the floor model but she said she just got it in recently. It looks good too.My question is how much do you think i should have paid total for delivery, hook up, and a 6 mth warranty? Do you think i got jipped and would have made out better buying it for 299. Then paying for delivery about 142.00, plus paying someone to put it together for a fee, or either screwing things up trying to do it myself? Should i feel jipped?

So I live at home with three brothers youngest is 16, oldest 21 and so we aren't children. I work and wanted to redecorate our home because everything is about 10 yrs old.
