The refrigerator woked fine until the power outage. The model is KSCS25FSMS01Now we have power back. It did not cool down overnight.I have unplugged the frig, plugged it back in and then tried to use max cool.It is not getting cold.

I went to make cookies today with my kitchenaid mixer, but then I realized it was broken. there was a thick metal rod poking out of it, not sure what this piece is called tho I pushed and pushed and it won't go back in and now the mixer's top piece is hanging down to low, know what I mean? My kitchenaid side by side freezer is not cooling properly. The temperature does not fall below 30 Fehrenheit?
I have done some troubleshooting and here are the symptoms observations. This is a builtin kitchenaid about 10 years old . A couple of nights back the freezer started acting up ice cream melted . The refrigerator section was fine It has an air baffle . The condenser coil was not cleaned in a while so I just cleaned them up yesterday. The evaporator does not seem to be the issue. THere is not much frost build up. I was able to manually trigger the defroster to defrost any frost that was there on the evaporator. After about 15 minutes the compressor started. The compressor temperature gradually goes up and after about 15 30 minutes stabilizes at 130 F. The condenser is not hot at all not even warm . The IR thermometer says the temp for the condenser is about 75 degrees. The ambient temperature is about 68 F. The expansion valve is about the same temperature as the condenser tested this out by touch . When I shut the compressor off by turning the power off I could hear some noise. I am told that this is the noise of the refrigerant still moving through the system . The problem is that the compressor seems to be running forever and the freezer side temperature is not going low enough does not fall below 35 F . Some ancillary questions. How warm hot should the condenser be. How hot should the compressor be and how warm should the expansion valve get.Thanks Duke50 for responding. My fridge has an air baffle. What that means is that there is just one compressor. Depending on the thermostat setting of the refrigerator side, the system circulates some cold air from the freezer to the refrigerator. The freezer is cold enough 35 F to bring the temperature of the refrigerator down to 50 F.Thinking that perhaps the defroster and the compressor are running at the same time although from what I have learnt about refrigerators they are on mutually exclusive circuitry I disconnected the limit switch for the defroster. As a result the defroster wouldn't run since the circuit is open. I was able to verify this by making sure that there is no water in the pan under the freezer.I am wondering if my freezer is low on charge. and if there is an easy way to diagnost that. Moreover, if the freon charge is the issue, how much should I expect to be paying a tech to repair the leak and bring up the charge just a ball park number will work .

4th time the computer board circuit board not the control panel has had to be replaced. last 3 times we had a technician last time he gave us an extra board i can see how to remove the control panel but i do not seem to be able to figure out how to access the circuit board computer board i am usually pretty handy so i am hoping someone can give me a hint
Kitchenaid dishwasher not drying completely?
i have a kitchenaid dishwasher model kude70fvss3 that is around 1 year old. from the beginning, it doesnt dry the dishes very well even when using jet dry. it is steamy inside after its done and very hot, but there is still moisture on the dishes. is this typical? should there be steam evacuating from the vent on the top lip of the door at some point? thats one thing i noticed that steam has never come out of that vent.
Kitchenaid dishwasher won't start?
I have a dishwasher, kitchenaid 8572291 I think that won't run. There is ekectricity in the panel as evidenced by a handheld voltage meter. Checked the connection. everything fine. I've only had the thing a month. The reason I say " I think" for the model number is because I tried searching it on the kitchenaid site it said " no results." I know there's a " Reset sequence" but there are so many different ones...any thoughts?
Kitchenaid glass cooktop won't turn on?
I have a kitchenaid glass cooktop and none of the burners seem to work. I have already checked the circuit breaker to make sure that was not the problem. It is a countertop model and is hard wired to the electric and has it's own circuit breaker. I've had an appliance repair man out to fix this issue a couple of years ago, he did it for free as a charitable contribution to a program for the elderly but the problem has resurfaced again. I'd like to know what the problem is, in hopes that I may be able to fix it myself, or to at least have some knowledge as to what the problem may be, so that I don't get taken to the cleaners I am on a fixed income when I call another repair man out to have it fixed.
Kitchenaid refridgerator ice maker on/off?
This is stupid, but even with the little diagram in my kitchenaid freezer, I can't figure out how to turn my icemaker on. It's not producing ice, and I want to see if that's because it's off, or because it's broken. The diagram shows some kind of " stop bar" or something, but I have no idea what it's talking about. Anyone know what it is, or how to identify it?Thanks in advance
