Breaker box trips when using just 2 small appliances?
Lately breaker the controls 2 kitchen wall outlets trips if using 2 appliances at once i.e. toaster oven plugged into one outlet coffeemaker in the other . This is a new problem I have lived here 2 years without this issue. The appliances themselves are new and defect free I tested them in other outlets . What could cause outlets that previously would operate multiple appliances to suddenly start tripping the breaker?
Why is my plug-in frying my small appliances?
I have a wall plug in that i replaced about a year ago, I can recharge my cell phone on it with no problem, but if i plug an appliance they go nuclear. So far have lost a toaster, crock pot and blender. I think i'll stop using it till its fixed.

I want to plug some of my small appliances into a surge lightening protector. The manual of two of them say to plug directly into the outlet. I would think that this is a liability issue because many people use that $2.95 extension cord to plug three appliances into the wall. Can I use a surge protector???
